Support Sam in his dream of working and living indepedently in the community
Sam A. is 20 years old. He graduated from High School this June with a diploma. Sam has a dream of working in video production. He has a job at Harris Teeter and works about 20 hours per week. He has just applied to college because he knows he needs to continue his education to work in the field of video production. If you ask Sam what he wants most for his future, he will say " I want to move out, live independently and have friends."
We educate Sam in social skills, money management and responsibilities of being a citizen of High Point so he can achieve his goals of living and working independently in his community.
Please join us in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, learn, work and play in their community.
